One of my best friends put his house up for sale the other day.
He decided to leave California and move his family to a different state.
I’m excited for him, but personally, I’m super bummed. He’s a great mate and I’ll miss him being so close.
For him, making this decision was hard (especially when you have awesome friends like me around the corner).
When it came down to it, he just felt like what he wanted for his family couldn’t be found here.
Essentially his values weren’t going to be met here.
It’s great for you to look at your Expert business and ask “Is how I’m building my business aligning with my values?”
Several years ago, I decided to stop traveling to speak and started running my own local events and online events.
I didn’t want to be the dad who was a rockstar on stages around the world, but absent from his most important audience…his kids.
This fundamentally changed my life.
It was scary to make that change. I was scared that I would lose clients, money, and momentum.
In the long run, it ended up creating MORE momentum, money, and freedom.
So my question for you this week is…
…Is your business building towards your values?
If not, you can make a change.
You don’t need to wait till things get really bad to make the change you want.
You have permission to make that change today.

Stop building your business in a direction you don’t truly want.
