The Secret ‘Physical’ Weapon That Can Increase Your Course Sales

Today I want to talk about something a little different.

That being…

Enhancing the customer experience and conversion rate with a physical offering.

(we do this in our ELITE coaching program)

Research shows that brand perception and engagement increases significantly when “swag” or something physical is received by the customer.

The sooner you can send a gift, the quicker you reinforce that they made a good decision.

But don’t take my word for it, think about it yourself.

How does it feel when you receive something in the mail – especially unexpected?

There’s almost always an excitement & positive response attached to it.

To elaborate on this concept I brought the “Product Boss” (Jacqueline Snyder) onto the Expert Edge this week.

Here are a few ideas on how to integrate physical products into your online offers…

1. Physical workbook

Sending a physical workbook is a great way to help your students go through the content. A bit of curriculum with them helps them get through the course. You can add this as an order bump that they pay for or if it’s higher level coaching students I’d encourage you to include it as a surprise.

2. Your Own Book

If you have a book, sending that would be ideal. If not, you can send or recommend a book or books that are congruent with your course or coaching program that will help them along the way.

3. Welcome Gift Box

Now this is something I do with my higher level coaching program – ELITE. Students don’t know they are going to receive it. But once they do they are always thrilled and post their pictures with it in the Facebook Group.

Those are just a few ideas.

The possibilities are endless.
