Not all marketing strategies are created equal…

There are so many ways you can promote your coaching or course business.

This could be through email, social media, networking etc.

However, there’s one strategy that in my life stands above the rest.

Once you have it in your business, it gives you an unfair advantage.

… to me it’s the most important & powerful selling tool you can have.

And that’s a High-Converting Presentation.

During this week’s short episode of the Expert Edge, I discussed three shifts in your content that will transform your presentations from claps to clients.

There are 3 BIG MISTAKES that I see many coaches and course creators make that stop their presentations from converting.

These include….

1. Using your course content as your presentation

One of the biggest mistakes people make is using their course material as their presentation material. Doing this will get you some praise for your presentation, but it will also create a lot of overwhelm for your audience, which will ultimately lead to fewer sales because they will try to implement the 50 things you just taught them first. If you are using the content in your course as the foundation for building your presentation, you’ll never get the number of clients you desire.

2. Thinking you need a list before you present or launch

The truth is it’s not about your list. It’s about you and the decision to show up and lead. First, you have to decide that you’re ready to lead, you’re ready to present. Then you let your presentation be the vehicle that builds your list! You build the list by declaring to the world (your audience) that you are going to bring value (your webinar) to it. You can build your list very fast by creating a compelling title and topic for your webinar or presentation.

3. Needing to be a confident speaker in order to host a webinar or event

This is not the case at all. I used to shake like a leaf on stage. More important than your confidence is the formula you lean on. After leaning on a proven formula for some time you’ll see that confidence starts to blossom naturally.
