The 3 Biggest Mistakes That Hinder Your Sales on Webinar

Have you ever delivered a webinar or presentation that led to no or very few sales?

It’s the worst feeling, right?

You feel like you delivered a ton of value, served your heart out and it led to nothing!

But after delivering thousands of presentations (an making millions from stage) I worked out that there were three big mistakes that were the difference between whether or not the presentation led to a flood of clients.

And I’m guessing if you’re not getting the results you want you’re probably making one of these three mistakes also…So here they are:

Teaching, then Selling
This mistake occurs when you prepare for your webinar or presentation, you design great content then basically ‘whack your offer at the end’.

It creates awkward feelings for the audience and feels even worse for you. You basically feel like there is no smooth connection between your content and your offer, which means both you and the audience feel uncomfortable.

Not Creating Desire-Based Content
This mistake is when you create content that entertains or even informs, but does not lead to creating a desire for your offer.

The focus of your content must be firstly around creating a desire for the strategy that you have to offer your clients. If you get too fast into the practical, you’ll overwhelm your audience and they will say no to your ‘next steps’.

It’s kinda like ‘asking someone out’ in the first two minutes of meeting them. If you haven’t created a desire for what you have, over a gradual period of time, when you make your offer things will get creepy and weird…and that’s not fun for anyone.

Not Using Infusion Selling
This mistake occurs when your content is based around teaching ideas and does not address objections or resistance in the audience (in a respectful way). Infusion Selling is my unique take on “indirectly selling throughout the whole presentation while providing value”! Win-win.
