Online events can convert weak. Connection feels distant. People disappear after the training.
Then you run an in-person workshop. Same content. And something magic happens.
I was standing at the fountain at an in-person event I was hosting for my ELITE members, and one of my clients came up to me and said with tears in her eyes “I just bought my dream home for my family, because I went from $15K to $90K a month in under 12 months of working together”.
After the event, she told me “I never would have created this without you.” Having a client share a story like that on Zoom is nice, but having them share in person and feeling their energy, it just hits different.
Here’s what most people miss…in-person events are the X factor that separates six-figure coaches from seven-figure coaches.
In an AI world where information is everywhere, real human connection is becoming increasingly rare and increasingly valuable. In-person workshops build that fast.
They create stickiness.
This week’s episode breaks down how to run in-person workshops that actually work. The three types of events. The five principles that make them convert.

Here’s the headlines of what we unpack and how to apply it immediately:
1. There are three types of in-person workshops (pick the right one for your business)
Implementation workshops are for your current clients. You deliver deep content, implement frameworks, get results. Signature live events are for the general public. Lower ticket, higher enrollment focus. Intimate intensives are high-ticket, small group, results-driven. Each serves a different purpose and attracts a different audience. Choose based on who you want to serve and what outcome you want. We break down deeply how to choose the right type of event style for you to implement before 2026 finishes.
2. The 5 big shifts in-person events create (and why online really can’t compare)
Results: Information becomes implementation when people are in the room. Ascension: There’s magnetic pull to being physical with the leader. Proof: Real footage of you on stage becomes your best marketing asset. Community: Peer bonds form that can’t happen online. Stickiness: Clients stay longer when they’re connected to in-person events.
3. Know your economics before you host (How to never lose money on an event)
Calculate your break-even point. Know your costs. Know your ticket price. Know how many people you need to make it profitable. I’ve seen coaches host beautiful events that lose money because they didn’t do the math upfront.
4. Choreograph the enrollment (don’t leave sales to chance)
Make your offer by end of day one (on a two-day event). This gives people overnight to think about it. Repitch mid-day two. Final decision by end of workshop. For three-day events, offer on day two after lunch, repitch on day three. Structure your enrollment. Don’t wing it.
If you’re stuck trying to scale online and your conversions are tanking, an in-person workshop might be the missing piece.
