5 End-of-Year Questions You Must Ask Yourself

With 2024 right around the corner…

There’s no better time than now to reflect on this past year.

But I don’t want you to reflect in the usual way.

I want you to reflect with purpose.

In a way that allows you to pull every last ounce of juice from 2023…

And use that to really drive 2024 in the direction that you want.

Towards the end of every year, I do just this.

I ask myself 5 main questions to gain this clarity for the new year.

1. What worked well?

What worked well for you in your life and your business? Find out which strategies or activities really helped move you forward. Emphasize those in 2024.

2. What didn’t work well?

What was something you tried or maybe have been doing for awhile that just isn’t getting you the results you want? And what was the lesson in that? It’s not just about looking back at what’s worked well, but just as important you have to make sure you stop putting energy towards activities, clients, etc.. that aren’t driving your forward.

3. What did you enjoy the most?

Every year tends to be a little different for me but this past year I really enjoyed teaching and working with my group coaching students. It’s not to say I don’t every year, it’s just that it was an emphasis at the end of 2022 when I did this same process then.

4. What trends are happening in your industry?

Look for the trends happening in your industry and capitalize on them in the coming year. In my industry 2 trends I notice are, live events are making a comeback and the emergence of AI and its valid uses.

5. Where are your leads coming from?

Leads are obviously the lifeblood of your business, so look back at your data and get really clear on where your leads are coming from. Really emphasize those strategies that are working well.
