1. Tap Into a Broken Tooth Problem
Most people sell to problems that are nice to be fixed but not urgent to be fixed. This very specific model will help you identify how to take your problem from something that is semi-attractive to being absolutely necessary in your clients’ lives.
This is the exact model that I just shared recently with my highest-level coaching clients. It’s worth listening to to understand how this applies to you and your business right now.
2. Simplify the Promise
If it takes a paragraph to explain, it’s not ready. Refine the outcome down to one line your ideal client would yell “YES” to. One of the mistakes that people make is they try to be fancy instead of being clear. Something to be aware of is making sure that people won’t buy if they are confused. Clarity sells more than clever.
3. Make It an Easy Yes
A good offer feels obvious. Stack the bonuses, eliminate risk, and structure the price so it feels like a no-brainer. Make sure to have elements in your offer that move it from being a resistant yes to a hell yes. On the podcast, I gave about five or six different examples of how I’ve done that in my offers and how you can too.
4. Add More Emotion
People don’t buy logic, they buy transformation. Use story, metaphor, and real proof to stir the feeling that this is what I’ve been looking for. You can do this by using stories and metaphors to engage the emotion of your listeners and move them towards action.
