As I’ve worked with thousands of course creators and coaches, I’ve noticed something:
Success is less about what you do and more about your capacity to receive and hold it.
Your nervous system is the container.
And if your container’s still built for $10K months, it’s going to short-circuit well before getting to $100K/m.
Here are the 3 ways I’ve expanded mine—and how you can too:
1. Do the internal work
Before you scale your offer, you’ve gotta scale your identity. Ask yourself: What do I actually want? What’s the story I’m telling myself? What is the fear that I am believing that is stopping me from stepping into my true identity? (Also, stop letting your brain go full apocalypse just because one person unsubscribed from your email. You’re not about to end up homeless because Susan left your list.)
2. Expose yourself to the next level
Your nervous system doesn’t expand in theory—it expands in experiences. Go to bigger events. Join the mastermind. Talk to people who are playing the game at the level you dream of.
I remember meeting Bob for the first time, and I asked him how his week was, and he said “Great, I bought a bank on Wednesday, and then we’re flying to our ski-in/ski-out house on Friday.” I’m like, “What? You bought a bank on Wednesday?” As I got to know Bob, he was the most humble, generous person I’ve ever met. And I realized that he is just playing at a bigger level.
I’m not saying you have to buy a bank… but being around people who play big will make your $3K ad spend feel a whole lot less scary.
3. Practice. Reps matter.
When I launched my first group program, one person signed up. Yep—one. I still ran it like there were 50. The second time? 35 people joined instantly. You grow your nervous system by doing the thing, not thinking about doing it.
Bottom line: Your business grows at the rate your nervous system can handle.
