“Facebook Ads don’t work”
Have you heard this lately?
Fortunately, my ads account DID NOT get the memo.
In fact, I’m always looking at ways for us to spend MORE on Facebook & Instagram.
This is because my team and I understand what works.
We know that for every dollar we put in we’re going to get at least $2 back.
In fact, we don’t just know what works.
Even more so… Facebook knows what works! (This is a CRUCIAL idea that will change your momentum in 2025!)
The platform is so advanced now that if you do a few things right – which I elaborate on down below and get out of Facebook’s way, the sales pore in.
Here are 3 BIG “what’s working now” tips she elaborated on…
1. Creative is the new targeting
Your creative is the most important part of your ad. Your top performing ads will always have top performing creatives. Good ad copy & headlines are necessary, but nothing holds a torch to the importance of creative. Creative is referring to the images and videos you are using in your ads to stop the scroll and draw attention. Some of the best performing ads have NO “interest-based” targeting. Facebook literally finds your audience for you if you get the creative right.
In the episode, I discussed one of our highest-performing Ads right now called the “This VS That Video”. It highlights the difference between a “known and unknown’ way of getting a result. An example of this is “The difference between a signature and conversion story’. It’s crushing for us and you can use this concept to run ads to your stuff.
2. Don’t neglect static ads
60% of conversions STILL come from static image ads. So, while the trend certainly is moving towards more video, don’t forget that static image ads still work and can outperform video ads.
3. Run conversion ads
Only 30% of ads are run with the Conversion objective. Conversion ads are where all the money is! Make sure your pixel and everything is set up so that Facebook can learn and help your ads perform better.
A recent client of mine came to me complaining that they had spent $400 and got 3 leads for her webinar. I said to her, “Something seems really wrong here.” So I advised her to switch her objective to conversion ads, and she got 788 leads from $1,200 spent. This led to $15,000 in course sales, which was her 2nd webinar EVER!
