3 Must Know Pillars to Create Business Expansion

It’s been said that…

One of the greatest catalysts for personal growth is the start of a business.

Now sometimes this growth can feel very uncomfortable.

Like really, really, uncomfortable.

But I learned that the only way for my business expansion…

Is when I expand with it.

Anytime my business stagnates there’s almost a 99.97% chance it’s because my own personal growth has stagnated.

And looking back, that makes a lot of sense since we as coaches ARE our business.

As we grow, so grows our business!

This all led me to record an Expert Edge Podcast episode all on the 3 strategies I use to expand personally and professionally.

Simply put, when I apply these 3 strategies my business grows…because I grow.

1. Own your future

The key here is to embrace your future self. You want to have an incredible focus on a specific goal or outcome and declare that outcome every single day. Write it down every single day, even if it seems silly or unattainable at first. Slowly you will mold into this identity.

I started writing everyday…”I lead market leaders”, then several months later, I had the chance to work with Amy Porterfield on a big presentation she was delivering which resulted in $450,000 in sales in just a few hours. Do you think that was by chance or a product of owning my future identity?

Own your future identity.

2. Curate high-level connections

I’m very conscious of who I hang out with and who I don’t hang out with. I’m also very conscious of how I feel after an interaction with someone. If they drain me or if there’s drama, I’m out. On the flip side, if there’s a relationship that makes me come more alive, I cultivate it by encouraging them and adding value regularly.

Some of you are not actively connecting and re-connecting with people who will uplevel you and your business.

I do this every week.

In fact, I just got off a voice chat with Carrie Green, who founded the Female Entrepreneur Association. She became a good friend several years ago, and I know she is someone I want to keep in touch with and keep close to my inner circle. So I don’t leave things to chance. I actively touch base with people and authentically show I care.

This is such a game-changer in my personal and business expansion.

3. Elevate your environment

In a weird way, having some nice things in my life takes me to another level. This doesn’t mean to go into debt buying a bunch of things that you think other people will be impressed by. But get a few nice things in your life that remind you that you’re worth it – of course you’re worth it but it’s the reminder and the feeling that is important here.

One of my clients Jason said to me “I’m going to buy a CEO chair”. He went and bought a killer chair that reminded him everyday that he is a CEO…And his business grew. Now I’m not saying that the chair was the reason (as he was a student in my highest level program), but I know it helped 🙂

So use these 3 expansion pillars today and watch your business and your personal development uplevel.
