2 simple strategies to feel instantly positive

But this is actually a GREAT thing.

Overcoming challenges takes a combination of competence, resilience & most importantly – positivity.

But he shared 2 simple strategies anyone can use to feel instantly positive everyday.

1. Gratitude walks

Research shows that you can’t be in fear and thankful at the same time. So one thing that you can and should do daily are what he calls “Gratitude walks”. They’re exactly what they sound like. You take a walk every day and consciously become thankful for things in your life and things you wish to have in your life. You’ll create hormones that uplift you as opposed to those that drain you.

2. Talk instead of listen

Talk to yourself instead of listening to yourself. We have negative thoughts so often that we often think they are coming from us. But they aren’t. Because who would ever choose to negatively affect themselves. The thoughts come so quick that we think they are us creating them. But once you realize this isn’t you, you have the power to consciously create the next thought. Do this over and over again when negative thoughts arise and soon enough the negative thoughts lose their power. In other words, stop listening to yourself all the time and start talking to yourself. That’s what leaders do.

As you think, so you become.
